Any credible marketer who's been online for some time will quickly tell you that the number one
thing in this business, the "foundation" of all success online, no matter what you do, is Content!
"Content is King" is a very popular
phrase in this business because it's very true. Content is absolutely positively king, because without good, unique
content you have nothing.
The only Search Engine worth optimising your site for is Google. They keeps telling everyone over
and over again, that "unique content is King." Google's Matt Cutts answers almost every
question about getting good Search Engine rankings by stressing that you have to provide high quality
content, content that will enhance your visitor's experience at your Web site, and not detract from it.
With that said, writing top-quality content for your Web site is going to be one of the most
important tasks you will undertake, with the aim being to
drip-feed your site, on a definite
schedule (using the superb in-built scheduling function of xSitepro 2.0), with
consistently top quality unique content. Always aim to schedule your new artciles and content so that you get
maximum benefit from Google by having regular updates to your Web site. Don't throw a ton of stuff at your Web site
every now and again, because that is going to look like spam to Google, and they will penalise you for it. This is
a most important point.
This is not going to be an easy task if you don't know how to properly go about it. There are days
when the last thing you want to do is sit down and produce a few good 500-800 word articles. Or you just might have
writer's block on the topic you want to write about. Or you just might need some new inspiration on the subject.
And then there's a whole brigade of people who are convinced that they just cannot write at all. For this last
group of people I would love to encourage you to challenge that belief, and pull your sleeves up and start
overcoming this perceived weakness you're convinved you have. It will cost you big money in the long run
But the most important topic is that you must write keyword
optimised content for your Web site, and this is where good sound keyword research comes in.
Each article should be optimised around one main keyword phrase, with possibly one or two more only, so you must
have your trusty keyword list at hand when writing. The material from Andy Williams, which we'll soon come to, will
help you understand all of this.
So what options are available to help you with this important task:
Method
1: Write the articles
yourself ...
Ultimately this is the best approach to writing articles, and if you combine it with the tips given
by the man we are going to talk about next, you'll always have top-quality unique content to feed to your site.
So, rather than present one of our own report on this subject, we feel that we could do better than
refer you to one of the Internet's genuinely helpful marketers and software developers. He has much valuable free
content available on his site, and we suggest that you join his mailing list to get access to them.
The man's name is Dr Andy Williams,
and he runs several Web sites, where you will learn a great deal about the right way to do keyword research, write
keyword optimised articles, and blueprint and build high-ranking Web sites. Here are some of his other sites:

with:
How to Re-Write PLR Stuff into Unique, Valuable Content that the Search Engines Will Love,
by Dr Andy Williams.
This is one of the best ways for you to follow, in writing your own articles. And you will never
get a better article than the one you write yourself, and I'm sure that you will find this to be true over and over
again.
You can get Andy's report from his EzSEONews.com site, by subscribing to his newsletter, which is
free, here:

One very important topic that you must understand in relation to writing quality unique content is
a thing called Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI). The best short introduction to the topic we can offer you is the
following four articles, which you can find on our Search Engine
Optimisation Articles page:
Article 1: "Latent Semantic Indexing Concepts."
Article 2: "20 Essential Latent Semantic Indexing Defintions."
Article 3: "Building Web Sites for Today's Latent Semantic Indexing
Environment."
Article 4: "Inbound Linking Strategies for Latent Semantic
Indexing."
There are two reports that you should also read, also by Andy Williams, and understand, for
they contain such valuable ideas that will help you in your online business. No Opt-in required. They are:

Method
2: Hire a Freelance Writer ...
Undoubtedly this is the fastest way to generate content. The first thing to do, as in all article
writing, is to start out with your keyword list, because this will form the anchor text of the article, and it will
be this list that you will be submitting your articles to the writer you decide to hire.
Here are some online services where you can find such people:
http://www.eLance.com/
http://www.rentacoder.com/
http://www.smarterwork.com/
http://www.guru.com/
When you post your bids, be firm about what you're
prepared to pay, and say so, something like this: "I am willing to pay $5 per article, with a 10 article minimum
($50 per 10 articles)."
I consider $5 per article to be the rock-bottom price
you'd pay to get a half-decent article written for you. But you'll pay more for quality, which is part of the
game of life, and I wouldn't hesitate to pay double that for the right writer.
In fact there's a service that Allan Gardyne, of
AssociatePrograms.com, has been recommending lately, and I quite
like it. It's Content-Kingdom.com, and they charge US$11 to US$14 per article:
http://Content-Kingdom.com
Content-Kingdom.com isn't some new membership site
with ongoing fees. They have two rates. Their standard rate is US$11 per article for a 7 to 14-day
turnaround. Their speedier rate is US$14 for a 7-day turn around.
The text book on the subject of hiring a freelance
writer is Gary Antosh's, How To Create Website Content Fast. A Google search should tells you more
about it.
Method
3: Join a PLR (Private Label Rights) Membership Site ...
We're not big fans of PLR content for several reasons, because there are hundreds and hundreds of
good article directories on the Internet, where you can get free access to thosuands of articles, which will
provide an excellent stimulus to write your own. If you master Dr Andy's technique mentioned above, we consider
this to be the best way to produce top-quality unique content.
But do not copy or plagiarise other people's content. It will disaster for
you if you do!
Method
4: Use Article Spinning Software to Generate Robotic Articles
There are a number of software programs that are able to take an article and turn it into
dozens of copies, none like the original or even each other! Undoubtedly, as I write this (January 2010), the
best article spinning software around is Jonathan Leger's TheBestSpinner.com. I won't go into any hype about this, but encourage you to visit his site
and see for yourself that what I'm saying is true. The best way to gain an appreciation of this incredible
software is to visit Jonathan's site and watch the video:
http://www.TheBestSpinner.com
Another good article spinner is Noel Swanson's Unique Article Wizard, and recently he has tweaked his Wizard, as he calls it, even more, so
that now you can add Audio, Images and Video to your articles!
Jonathan Leger also has a good product that is worth investigating, called InstantArticleWizard (now probably superseded by his TheBestSpinner.com software, mentioned above)
I would also suggest that you use your articles the way that Jonathan reveals in this
excellent article:
If Google is Neglecting Your Site
Add a Blog
A good free system that we are using ourselves is the FreeTrafficSystem, which will enable you to greatly
improve your rank in Google and the other Search Engines. As well this system also comes with an excellent free
report on how to properly prepare articles for the Search Engines. It's called Smart and Safe Backlink Building Guide (don't be misled by
the title, because it contains a wealth of information on writing link text, article writing SEO techniques, and
a whole lot more), and you can download the PDF from here:
http://NetSellingSecrets.com.au/downloads/smart-and-safe-backlink-building-guide.pdf
Method 5: Get Article-Writing Ideas From the Wordtracker Question Tool
If you want to jumpstart your site with all sorts of useful
content, and you're not sure where to start, go to the Wordtracker Question Tool. Type in your keyword
phrase and the top 100 questions in your niche will appear. These questions make excellent ideas for writing
articles that are directly relevant to you and your site, providing real answers to real questions and therefore
adding "value" to your site.

The Wordtracker Question Tool FAQs: http://labs.wordtracker.com/keyword-questions
You can create your own articles by answering those questions,
and of course, making sure you reference your site and your products/services. It's a great tool for this
purpose.
Method
6: Always Optimise Your Articles to Work with What Google
Suggest Recommends
For a description of the
Google Suggest, and how to use it, see Appendix C of An Introduction to Keyword Research, which you can
find in the Client's Vault.
Method 7: Use the Google Wonder Wheel to Get Ideas for Article Titles
For a description
of the Wonder Wheel, and how to use it, see Appendix B of An Introduction to Keyword Research, which you can
find in the Client's Vault.

Make Sure Your
Content Is "Eye-Catching" i.e. Use Relevant
Images
Google's Making the Most of Your Content: A Publisher's Guide to the Web, on page 12,
makes the following important point: "Create relevant, eye-catching content: visitors will arrive at your
pages via various links, so make sure each page willgrab
their attention."
That not only means well designed text elements, such as text-boxes, pull-quotes, good use of
white space, and the like, but also it means that you should include at least one relevant image per page (more
for longer pages). If visitors come looking for a "Download" link, make sure it is a big, clearly visible buttom, in the right design and
colour, with the word "Download" (or similar) on it. Don't make them have to search and
squint into all the detal on your page to find something that should literally hit them in the eye!
With the use of images, always use the ALT tag to describe what the image is all about. THis
is done not for getting better SEO rank (because it won't achieve that for you), but for those visitors who may
be vision-impaired, or who are browsing the INternet with images turned off (makes browsing faster as they don't
have to wait while the browser downloads the images that are used on pages)
"If your site uses a lot of images, ensure that you describe the important content of each
image in the text. Not only
does this allow search engines to index the image correctly, it also makes the image accessible to visually
impaired users. You can also make use of alt text for the image and use descriptive file names, as shown in
this example (which is an image of a logo for a company called 'Buffy's House of Pies'):
" (Making the Most of Your Content: A Publisher's Guide to the
Web, on page 6, emphasis added)
But at the same time, don't ever expect images to be a replacement for well-written text. Many
people do this, with the result that their Web site is a near waste of time. Google gives this timely
warning:
"Don't use images to display important names, content or links -
search engines can't 'read'
images." (Making the Most of Your Content: A Publisher's Guide to the
Web, on page 12, emphasis added)
Our
Conclusions:
We believe that you should attempt to master the art of writing articles yourself, using Dr
Andy William's technique as discussed above. Our second choice would be to hire the services of a good freelance
writer, such as Content-Kingdom.com. Undoubtedly this is the fastest way to produce content for your eb site,
that is if you can afford the fees. Undoubtedly the best spinner around is Jonathan Leger's TheBestSpinner.com. And I wouldn't dismiss the Unique Article Wizard either, but would make sure that creative ways were used to
ensure that your articles are further refined by the human touch as much as possible.
Remember the bottom line: writing articles is probably the best way to gain FREE traffic, subscribers, and
increased sales ... The online marketing 'experts' and 'gurus' make huge amounts of revenue from writing
articles ... But unless you learn the
tricks of the trade, you'll never realize the kinds of profits that others are making every
hour of every day.

If you're tired of all the guesswork and frustration, and really hate stumbling around in the dark
when it comes to writing your articles ... then take advantage of
Dr Andy Williams' expertise on the whole subject. He will give you a foolproof,
step-by-step article writing recipe that is guaranteed to deliver on the promises we have spoken about above.
We also provide, for our clients only (in the Clients'
Vault), what we call Google Best Practice
Checklist, which we keep updated regularly, or as soon as Google makes significant changes to
their filters.
To conclude, always work to serve up high quality unique content to
your site visitors. Doing that will incraese your Google love, as that is what they love to index and serve up to
the Web browsing public.
